Global Stone Workshop® starts in Goa at Kerkar Art Complex, Calangute, on December 06 and on December 20. Surf to www.subodhkerkar.com for info and photos.
Subodh Kerkar is an internationally active sculptor with a large outdoor studio and an elegant art centre with gallery, restaurant and nice rooms, 300 meters from the beach.
Two weeks of work (power, compressed air, hand tools and some power tools are included) and 12 days in double room accommodation for each participant (any accompanying stay free of charge) costs 710 €.
Stone to be added. You can choose from white marble from Rajasthan (a bit more expensive), and black, ¨ soft ¨ granite from Karnataka (cheaper).
If you stay 2 more weeks the cost will diminish to 650 €
